The TriggerForms provide 32-bit timers and counters. The counters can be from 3 to 2³²...

The maximum TriggerForm timer depends on the active sampling rate.

Max Timer at 500 MHz or faster

Timer resolution at 500 MHz or faster = 2 nanoseconds

= 4,294,967,296 x 2 ns

= 8,589,934,592 ns

= 8.59 seconds

Max Timer at 100 MHz

Timer resolution matches the sampling rate when sampling below 500 MHz.

The timer resolution at 100 MHz = 10 ns

= 4,294,967,296 x 10 ns

= 42,949,672,960 ns

= 43 seconds

State Analysis: "1 to 8 input clock"

72 channels: 2 ns timer resolution (500 MHz sample rate)

36 channels: 1 ns timer resolution (1 GHz sample rate)

18 channels: 0.5 ns timer resolution (2 GHz sample rate)

State Analysis: "clock on A16/etc..."

The maximum counter is 4.2 billion.

Timers are not available.
