A symbol table can be loaded into a channel group or a serial bus definition. Symbol tables associate symbolic text strings to the numeric values. This allows the text strings to be displayed in the trace data or decoded serial bus values.

Once a file is loaded, symbols can be displayed in place of numeric values in the WaveForm, Numeric, and TriggerForm views.
