Click the FILE Tab to display the FILE ToolBar.

The FILE ToolBar contains all file-related actions: open/save projects, imports/exports files, etc.

Open a .GL7 Project File. Older .XLP projects (from v6) and .PRJ files (from v5) are also supported.

Save a GL7 project file. All software settings and open data are saved to the project files.
|
| |
|

Choose a recent project from the pop-up list.

Create a new project. All project settings are set to default values and all captured data is closed.

Close open Trace and/or Reference data.

Displays the Printer Setup dialog box.

Import Trace / Reference Data from other projects. The project setup values are not affected.

Import a Value Change Dump (VCD) text file as Trace or Reference Data. The VCD signal definitions are also imported into the channel groups if possible.

Import Channel Group Definitions from a text file.

Export the channel groups and Trace or Reference data to a Value Change Dump (VCD) text file.

Software Development Kit (SDK) related buttons are displayed only when the System Options "Show SDK Import/Export buttons" option is checked...

Export the project settings to a SDK text setup file (*.SET). Only project values related to the logic analyzer hardware are exported. These include input mode, active channels, sample mode, sample rate, threshold levels, triggers, etc. Graphical items like waveform lines, numeric columns, etc. are not saved in the .SET files.

Import a binary .TRC trace data file captured with a custom SDK application. The active project setup values are not affected.
