WaveForm View: Logic-Op Trace & Ref

In the WaveForm view, a combined timing diagram can be generated using Boolean-logic operations. The most useful operator for timing comparisons is the Exclusive-OR (XOR) logic-op combination. An XOR combination shows a high pulse anywhere the signals differ.

In the example below, you can easily see high “spikes” where the channel A00 pulses in the trace data do no align with the same pulses in the reference data…

Analysis Tools: Compare Tab

Two trace captures can be compared using the Analysis Tools “Compare” feature. Each signal is compared in the time-domain. So trace data captured with different sampling rates or different sampling modes can be compared accurately.
