Repeat capture mode is very powerful when combined with the "Auto-save" or "Analysis Run" features found under the System Options Toolbar button.

Repeat Mode: Stop After Each Capture
|
| |
|
The logic analyzer stops after each trace capture. This is the normal mode of operation.
|

Repeat Mode: Repeat Until "Stop" is pressed.
|

The logic analyzer automatically restarts after each trace capture until the Stop button is clicked.
|

Repeat Mode: Repeat Until "Count" equals...

Automatically restarts the logic analyzer until the specified number of trace captures are taken. The Count edit box contains the restart limit.

Restart Delay: Minimum delay between captures

The GoLogic7 software restarts quickly as possible after each trace capture is downloaded, processed, analyzed, and displayed.
|

Note: the elapsed time between trace samples depends on how much processing is required on the new trace capture. However, some delay is always present so you can press the "Cancel" button before the logic analyzer restarts.
