TriggerForm Custom: Selective Storage

While on a trigger level, selective storage can store all incoming samples to memory, store no samples, or store only samples which match specific Trigger Lines.. This feature allows the logic analyzer to turn storage on and off while waiting for the trigger event to occur. When the trigger event occurs, the logic analyzer uses the selective storage options on that level until the memory is filled.

Note: The PreStore is 0% and the Pre-fill period is disabled when selective storage is active.

Store: All Samples

The "Store: All Samples" option includes all sampled data values in the final trace capture.

"Store: All Samples" is the default option.

Store: No Samples

The "Store: No Samples" option excludes all sampled data values from the final trace capture.

Jump to a level where storage which uses "Store: No Samples", then jump to other levels where storage is enabled.

The "Store: No Samples" option cannot be used on the Start Level. The Pre-fill period will never expire and the logic analyzer will never trigger if no samples are stored on the Start Level.

Store: Only Selected Lines

The "Store: Only Selected Lines" option includes specific sampled data values in the final trace capture.

When a level's "Store: Only Selected Lines" option is active, each Trigger Line has a store option...

Only Trigger Lines which have the "Store Sample" option are saved in the final trace capture.

Trigger Lines which have the "Don't Store Sample" option are excluded from in the final trace capture.

The "Anything" placeholder can be used to store all samples on a level. This creates indentical behavior to the "Store: All Data" level option.
