The logic analyzer triggers when the packet matches the TriggerForm values.

Cmd
|
|
Select the packet command.
|
|
The commands available for triggering depends on the chip manufacturer selected in the Serial Tab.
|
|
If commands are missing from the list box, or extra commands are listed, then either the wrong chip type was selected or a "Custom" chip type must be defined.
|
|
Qualifier
|
|
Select the "=" or "!=" qualifier for the address.
|
|
Address
|
|
Enter the address value.
|
|
Base
|
|
Click the "Hex" or "Binary" button to choose the numeric base for the address edit box. This option is cosmetic and has no affect on the trigger behavior.
|
|
Bytes
|
|
Select the number of data values in the packet.
|
|
The Appendices define each model's trigger limits.
|
|
Qualifier
|
|
Select the "=" or "!=" qualifier for each data byte.
|
|
Data
|
|
Enter each data value in the packet.
|
|
The byte numbers correspond to each byte position in the packet. Therefore, no "Contiguous series" option is needed. To ignore specific data bytes, enter "xx" digits in the edit box.

Base
|
|
Click the "Hex" or "Binary" button to choose the numeric base for the data edit boxes. This option is cosmetic and has no affect on the trigger behavior.
