The software provides the "Trace" and "Reference" data areas.

New data captures are always downloaded into the "Trace" area.
|
|
The "Trace" data can then be moved or copied to the "Reference" area.

Copies Trace to Reference area.

Swaps Trace and Reference area.

|

Imports data from a saved Project File into either Trace or Reference area.

Closes Trace or Reference data. Use this button to reduce the project file size.

In the Serial Tab, Trace or Reference can be the source data when converting the raw signals into formatted serial bus data.
|
|
In the WaveForm view, Trace or Reference can be displayed or compared on each line.
|
|
In the Numeric view, Trace or Reference can be displayed or compared in each column.
|
|
In the PlugIns view, custom Plugins can request either Trace or Reference data for analysis and display.
|
|
In the Analysis Tools, Trace or Reference can be the source data for the "Noise", "Pulse", and "Bus Values" types. The "Compare" type uses both Trace and Reference for comparison.

In the Find Tab, Trace or Reference can be the source data when searching.
